Hitting The Target
This is my most successful piece of work as it has now won 3 awards including two International awards (BEA & ISMF).
It was an artefact I created in my final year at university to assist students in learning angles.
The project was to identify an area where students struggled to understand a topic.
After consulting with the headmaster of a local school, we realised the potential of helping the students understand the concept of Key Stage 2 angles in mathematics through the form of sports. The children had a real passion for sports, specifically cricket and football so I realised this would be a perfect opportunity to help children in a similar situation throughout the country.
With Flash MX Reference Guide in hand, I learned ActionScript and put all the learning methods I had learned into practise.
