After the success of World Cup KickOff in 2006, it was inevitable a European version would be created to coincide with Euro 2008.
While the audience for Euro 2008 was never going to be on the scale of a World Cup, it is still the second largest football tournament in the World, so there was huge demand for a website to discover and download when and where football teams were playing in Austria and Switzerland through June 2008.
The proof that the KickOff concept had legs was confirmed during the early days of development when UEFA - the governing body of European football, the hosts of Euro 2008 - asked to collaborate with us by supplying the calendar files generated directly from the official Euro 2008 website.
