Domain Names For Sale

Good domain names have become something of a luxury nowadays. Unless you got in early, it is quite likely the domain name you were after has gone now due to the growing demand for decent domain names around the world, especially when it comes to English dictionary words. To get around this problem during the Web 2.0 phenonema, companies starting making new words up. By simply removing the occasional vowel or adding extra letters to the start or end or even mashing to words together, successful new brands have been created such as Flickr, YouTube and Wikipedia.

During my years working on the Internet, I have managed to accumulate quite a portfolio of domain names. Some were very content specific, others just seemed like catchy names that seemed to work. It has always been my long term ambition to build something with these “brand names” but due to time limitations at home and work, such projects never surfaced.

Rather than continue holding on to these domains for the untimely future, I have decided to let some of them go to a worthy owner who can actually give them the attention they deserve.

peelhere.com

Purchased way back in 2001, I had intended to develop the domain peelhere.com as my personal brand, specifically as a design agency.

I liked the concept of peeling off a label, similar to when you purchase electrical goods with a control or display, to reveal a fresh shiny new product. It seemed like a perfect connotation on releasing a brand new piece of media, opening the packaging to reveal the splendid product beneath.

As time elapsed, I decided to revert to my own name as my personal brand and build my online presence on simonjobling.com instead.

peelhere.com would be the ideal brand for the print, design or textile industry.

unstyled.com

When I noticed unstyled.com was available in a listing on the SitePoint Marketplace, I snapped it up straight away. I thought it had so much potential as a brand in the design industry, either as an online magazine devoted to fashion and clothes, as an environment to share web design skills or even as an online version of a personal makeover program.

Again, it was one of those projects on the to-do list that I never had the time for so has fell by the way side.

If you have an idea for this domain or would just like to take ownership, it is available for auction on Sedo or get in contact.

Other Domains & Websites
