Announcing @media 2006
After attending the first European conference devoted to proper web development (@media 2005), I was eagerly anticipating the announcement of 2006’s installment. Yesterday, Vivabit did the right thing and announced an even better and bigger sequel to the @media conference…
The line-up looks very similar to last year apart from the fact there are a few more key speakers and loads more seminars. Maybe its something to do with this new “social Web” but there also seems to be more social events planned too for this year with a pre-conference party, half-way party, post-conference wind down and an all-day session on the Saturday. That’s my kind of seminar!
All that’s left to do is to persuade the boss to send me back down again. If not, I might be dipping into my own pocket and booking the week off as this is a must-attend event. You know where it’s “@”! (sorry)

I wish they did a cheap student registration, I know it’s a professional conference but it seems hightly expensive.

I’m there, I paid outta my own pocket, hopefully the boss’ll chip in or sommat! Can’t wait. We should have a Multipack-gang meet up.
