Meme’s are wonderful things. Everyone loves to hate them but everyone also feels the need to join in so they don’t feel left out. Now that we’re living in a blogging world where everyone is a writer and think that other people are actually interested, they are becoming even more of a nuisance.

It’s that time of the month again when I get my headphones on and mix together the funky house tracks that are doing it for me at the moment. Plain and Simple went down quite well but it had some really good material to support it. This month has taken a slightly different route. I start off with some “bigger” tracks, move on into a slightly twisted sound then finish off with some more soulful tracks.

Seven Wonders of the World (Wide Web)

It seems that the Seven Wonders of the World aren’t good enough for some. After Philon of Byzantium selected the seven most desirable man-made monuments to vist way back in 200 BC, The Lighthouse at Alexandria, The Temple of Artemis, The Statue of Zeus, The Colossus of Rhodes, The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, The Hanging Gardens of Babylon and The Egyptian Pyramids have seen many visitors from all around the globe. Now a website is attempting to change these.

After attending the first European conference devoted to proper web development (@media 2005), I was eagerly anticipating the announcement of 2006’s installment. Yesterday, Vivabit did the right thing and announced an even better and bigger sequel to the @media conference…
